Spring 2014 had designers like Phillip Lim, Rachel Comey and Peter Som (hello marbled shoes!) sending amazing agate and marble inspired looks down the runway. This trend is still holding strong as it trickles into the home market. Agate is everywhere and I’m crushing on it hard!
So addicted to this look, I was certain to use it when designing my home office after falling in love with Calico’s hand marbled wallpapers. Seriously, how amazeballs are these walls?!
While still infatuated with the Calico Wallpaper, I settled on creating a custom look for my walls using imported hand marbled papers. Paper just makes me so happy, and watching the hand marbling process for creating papers like this sold me on using it.
