Do you like fries? If you don’t, I’m sorry but we really have nothing left to say to each other.

BUT if you DO, and you’ve never had Lebanese Batata Harra you must have this immediately. It combines freshly fried potatoes tossed in a cilantro, garlic gremolata. And since I’m all about taking shortcuts whenever I can, I skipped the step of peeling and frying my own potatoes and just tossed the spiced mixture onto some baked frozen fries. 

This turned out so good, I may never eat a dry french fry again.

Ingredients
  1. 1/4cup fresh chopped cilantro
  2. 2 cloves crushed garlic
  3. 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
  4. Red pepper flakes, a pinch or to taste
  5. Salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Combine lemon juice, cilantro, crushed garlic and red pepper flakes togethr in a glass bowl.
  2. Remove freshly fried or baked fries and toss throuroughly with cilantro mixture.
  3. Serve immediately.
